Halloween Party
October 27, 8:45 arrival, Party from 9:45 - 11:30

Parents: Karen Angelis(lead), Sherry Brooks, Jennifer Bland, Samar Tanas, Michele O’Donnell - Arrive at 8:45 to help kids out of their costumes, One parent to provide pumpkins for each child, one parent to provide dry ice smoke.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
November 21/22

Parents: kathy Waite, Lisa Jones - More info will follow. Parents will sign up for specific food items. After food is dropped off, the volunteers will get donated food to front porch or Dept. of Social Services.

Thanksgiving Celebration

Parents: Michele O’Donnell(lead) Karen Angelis, Samar Tanas, Jennifer Bland, Lisa Jones - Need 4 gold coins per child

Easter Celebration
April 11, 10-11:30

Parents: Cindy West(lead), Kathy Waite, Samar Tanas, Jennifer Bland - Easter egg hunt outside. Send in 10 dozen egss with each child’s name on 6 eggs. Snack first and read stories second.

End-of-Year Party
May 17, rain date May 23

Parents: Michele O’Donnell, Valerie Bateman, Angela Flynn, Samar Tanas, Deborah Throm (send in goodies)


 

Notes:

  • Celebrations should consist of a craft and snack related to the event (and books depending on the time available). Don’t forget the paper products.
  • The lead parent for each party should coordinate with the other volunteers listed and contact the grade parent Karen Angelis with your plan. The grade parent will forward plans to Mrs. Wilson. If you are assigned to lead and would prefer not too, contact the Grade Parent.
     
  • Only scheduled parents may attend the parties.
  • No siblings are allowed to attend the parties.
  •  Examples of crafts might include: Easter Egg Hunt, Valentine cookie decorating, pumpkin painting, making ornaments...
  • Examples of snacks might include: Jello jigglers, seasonal cookies, pop corn hands, fruit...
  • Parents setting up should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled party.
