Our Daily Activities


We try to be very flexible with our classroom schedule. As our young children’s needs vary, so will our schedule. For example, we try to go outside earlier in hot weather. If a longer or shorter time for a particular activity seems appropriate, we try to accommodate those needs also. Our religion lessions are incorporated throughout the day.


7:45 - 8:00    Arrival in the Gym/Aftercare Room

8:00 - 8:10    Prayers with Lower School in the Gym

8:10 - 8:20    Travel to classroom, hang up backpack, “News and Neighbor” time

8:20 - 8:45    Circle Time: calendar, weather, helpers, songs, and story

8:45 - 8:55    Travel to bathroom as a group

8:55 - 9:00    Travel to Specials classes or return to Pre-K room for activity

9:00 - 9:45    Enrichment
Monday - Art
Tuesday - PE
Wednesday - Centers or Group Activity
Thursday - Music
Friday - Library

9:45 - 10:15    Return to classroom, wash hands, prayers, and snack

10:15 - 10:30    Classroom library/puzzles/center work

10:30 - 11:00    Travel to playground for outdoor play

11:00 - 11:15    Return to classroom and story time
 
11:15 - 11:25    Pack up, prayers, and dismissal

11:25 - 11:30    Travel to front porch for carpool

11:30    Carpool and pickup
