Daily Activities
We try to be very flexible with our classroom schedule. As our young children's needs vary, so will our schedule. For example, we try to go outside earlier in hot weather. If a longer or shorter time for a particular activity seems appropriate, we try to accommodate those needs also. Our religion lessions are incorporated throughout the day. Read More

Pk - Green Slip Recycling

Go Green and save a tree!  Send in your child's green slips so they can be used again.  Please place green slips in an envelope in your child's back pack.

“This is my second year teaching at STM and I am very excited to be here!  I am a native of New Orleans, but moved to Chapel Hill while in high school.  I love to excercise, read, and relax at the beach.  My husband, daughter, son and I love to travel and enjoy sports.  I have a one year old yellow lab named Bella and I love ladybugs!"

Library: 9:00 - 9:45 on Mondays

Music:  9:00 - 9:45 on Tuesdays

Art:  9:00 - 9:45 on Wednesdays

Spanish: 9:00 - 9:25 on Thursdays

P.E.: 9:00 - 9:45 on Fridays

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
  • You must first sign in at the computer near the office and print out  a volunteer sticker and wear your ID badge.
  • After signing in, report directly to the library, music trailer, or art room (not to the Pre-K classroom) to receive instructions from the teacher.
  • Please make other arrangements for siblings when you are volunteering.
