7th and 8th Grade Math Emphasis for 2007-8

Being able to read, comprehend, and follow directions is a valuable skill for students.  In an effort to help students master this skill,  following directions will be emphasized this year.  To that end, students should -

-read and follow all directions for each assignment, quiz, and test.

-understand that these directions may be written on the specific assignment and/or on the board.

-ask questions when they are unclear about the directions.

-realize that a 10% penalty will be given when directions are not followed.
