Literature: Be working on myths handout in preparation for class. We will begin discussing on Tuesday, 9/7.. Be reading novel outside of class to fulfill outside reading requirement. Book Report 1-1 due Friday, 9/10. Vocabulary: Be reviewing Unit 1 words (use "Brain Games"). Spelling/Sentences Test on Tuesday, 9/7. Theme for sentences: Back to School! Unit Test on Thursday, 9/9. Composition: Be working on an outline for Essay 1: persuasion. Outline is due 9/15. Week of September 6, 2010 No School Monday, September 6! Friday, 9/10 is the 6-1 Mass. Sixth Grade Supply List

Here is a list of all you will need if in sixth grade you are to succeed. Head out soon if you are wise before there is a mad rush for school supplies. Remember to make a midyear run lest your supplies run out before the year is done!
