6A - Sixth Grade Supply List

 

General Supplies

These items should be labeled with the student’s name.

One 1” red binder (math)
One 1” blue binder (science, social studies)
One 1” black binder (language arts)

One 1” green binder (library and music)

16 dividers

 

Two packages of white, college-ruled notebook paper

One sturdy zippered pencil bag with:

Four red pens

Four blue or black pens

Twelve sharpened #2 pencils

One yellow highlighter

One black fine point sharpie

Two packages of 3” x 5” index cards (one for library; one for Spanish)

One marble covered journal (for language arts)

 

One yellow folder with pockets and brads (Spanish)

One green folder with pockets and brads (technology)

USB Flash Drive--64 MB or greater (technology)

Two boxes of flat toothpicks (technology)

 

Simple calculator (square root the highest function)
Compass

Protractor

12” ruler (with inches and centimeters)

Homeroom Supplies

These items should not be labeled. They should be given to the homeroom teacher on the first day of school.

Two large rolls of paper towels

One pack of Expo dry erase markers

Two packages of #2 pencils (at least 24 total)

Two packages white, college-ruled notebook paper

Art Supplies

Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will not be required to buy their own art supplies. 

There is a mandatory supply fee of $20.00 per student which Mrs. Ives will use to purchase supplies. 

All checks should be written out to St. Thomas More School with “Art Fee” written in the memo line.

 All Upper School Students

When school starts,
students in grades 6, 7, and 8
must purchase a homework assignment book. 

There is a fee of $4.00 check per student for these books. 

All checks should be written out to St. Thomas More School with “Assignment Book” written in the memo line.


Please note:
Supplies may need to be replenished as the year progresses.

Upper school students are expected to have an ample supply of paper and writing implements at all times.
