Medication Policy
These medication guidelines are for the safety and protection of your child and the other students. We appreciate your adherence to these policies.

School Medication Policy  

  1.  Students are not permitted to bring any medication, prescription or otherwise, onto school property (including over-the-counter analgesics, such as Tylenol or Advil). 
  1. If your child is to receive prescribed medicine during the school day, a parent needs to: 

      a.  Bring the medicine to the nurse’s office or school secretary in the original container. 

      b.  A medication request form must be completed by parent and physician.

 3.  Over-the-counter analgesics (i.e. Tylenol or Advil) will be given to students only with written parental consent or, in an emergency, by telephone.  If    your child needs analgesics on a continuing basis, please supply the medication in the original container, labeled with your child’s name, and file    a medication request form with the nurse.
