Welcome to the St. Thomas More Catholic School Website. 

St. Thomas More School is located in beautiful Chapel Hill, North Carolina and our mission is to provide an education to each child in a God-centered environment.  Our day begins and ends with prayer and we celebrate Liturgy as a school once a week on Friday at 10:30 a.m.  The students take an active role in preparing and celebrating this liturgy.  We exist to share the Good News of the Catholic Faith and we celebrate diversity by welcoming children of all Faith traditions.  All are welcome to come and pray with us.

 Sister Catherine Web2St.Thomas More School is a Pre-Kindergarten (must be 4 years old as of August 31) through grade eight school.  The curriculum is set by the Diocese of Raleigh and we are accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools also known as AdvanceEd. We are an exciting school that contributes to the community at large by what we do daily in the classrooms. Our faculty and staff of fifty work tirelessly to search out new ways to engage the students so that they reach their full potential.

We are presently constructing our free standing Gym and Art/Music buildings that will complement what we are presently accomplishing in cramped spaces. In addition to these new buildings will be new athletic fields which will be available for use by our sports programs and outdoor PE classes.

Each summer St. Thomas More School offers, on campus, summer camps taught by STM staff. Camp dates and times vary with each camp. Camps are open to all even if you don't attend STM School and are offered on a first come first served basis. Check back often as more camps are offered.
