Class Information
Prayer Partners -
Our Prayer Partners this year are the students in 7A. Our main project this year will be to collect current magazines, both adult and children’s, to donate to the UNC NC Cancer Hospital. The magazines are placed in their Resource Center and in waiting rooms throughout the hospital.
Student of the Week -
We have one student each week who will be our “Student of the Week”. Our Student of the Week will pick the bonus words on our spelling test and pick which classroom job they would like for the week. Additionally, they will bring in a poster with photos and captions that help tell about themselves. Many students have also brought in an item (ex: trophy, collection) that they would like to show their classmates. The Student of the Week should not bring in a snack for the class.
Have fun making your poster. It’s always fun to see the people you know and the places you go!
Birthdays -
While not necessary, feel free to send in a small birthday snack to celebrate your child’s birthday. The snack should be low in sugar- such as fruit, muffin, or a small cookie. Some parents have chosen to send in a small very inexpensive non-food item such as a notepad. To avoid having too many snacks on one day, please let me know ahead of time if you are planning to send anything in. We will celebrate summer birthdays the last week of school.
