What's Going on in 1A 1-A whats happening The 1- A children work hard all day. They love the activities they do in centers. This might include painting a picture of Christopher Columbus and his three ships, sequencing cards to tell a story or writing about a witch's garden. In math they learned to compare numbers using the words more and fewer. Mastering horizontal and vertical addition number sentences proved to be an easy task when they used dominoes as a model. Our first spelling bee was a great success. The children had worked hard learning the first 14 spelling words. This was a unique way to reivew our words and have fun at the same time.
